Greedy Hands
Uploaded: November 06, 2006
Taken: Raw, handheld, afternoon and overcast, AP f5.6, UV filter. (Some minor color adjustments otherwise straight from the camera.)
Climber, Kyle Goto red pointing a 5.12b (VERY difficult) Mokuleia, Hawaii. I climbed the route next to it, put myself on self-belay by way of grigri and hauled up my photography gear. I then rapelled down and hung in different spots to shoot.
This title's for you, Kyle :o) This is my favorite picture from the series.

Outstanding series, Lani! And I agree, this is the most dramatic of the group! Not a rock climber myself (I'm SURE I would go careening to the depths!) so I stand in awe of your ability to scale cliffs AND take photos on the way!! Great work! #3561538Tarun Bose November 08, 2006 0
This shot is best in the lot. The angle of capture is fantastic. Great series. Well done Lani. #3561974Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
