Description

Lesson 3. F3.5, 1/100, ISO 200, 28mm, Manual Exposure, 10/24/06 @ 4:58. The images for this assignment were taken at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. Its not hard to find wonderful graphic design there but it is hard to come up with a composition that hasnt been taken before... I liked this close up perspective better than the compressed rounder view. Contrast, noise & light adjustments. (Someone emailed me on my last assignment regarding how I got the rich color on one of my images. I always shoot in RAW and work in 16bit color. I use levels and/or selective auto-contrast/fade for light and color adjustment. I rarely adjust the hue/saturation by more than 10. Using selections of areas with similar lighting the color always seems to come out very well with an auto-contrast adjustment along with fading by 50% or more) (Nov 06, Elements)
