Jurrasic View

Pentax 67II, 55-100 zoom, polarizer, 0.6ND soft grad, F16 at 8 sec's, Velvia.
The Quiraing, Skye, Scotland.
Just prior to sunrise I began taking the first shots of this most Jurassic landscape, the rolling green slopes sprinkled with basaltic spikes of rock and honey light spilling under grey clouds completed the magic of this most beautiful aspect of the Isle of Skye. It evaporated within minutes of sunrise definitely transient light.

Absolutely stunning shot! This deserves a win for sure. Beautifully captured mate. I've just bought a used 67 and can't wait to try it loaded with Velvia. #547689Janine Russell October 28, 2006
