Fabulous image, Bob! #360831Bob Creigh February 03, 2004
Thank you for all of your praise. Boyet asked for how I did it so here goes: I set my camera up on a tripod with my Tamron 28-300XR Zoom and Sigma EF 500DG Super Flash about 20 inches from a shallow bowl full of water. I suspedended a small syringe of water from my dining room light with some thread. To get the right focus, I set the lense to manual focus (Auto focus will not work) I also suspended a a paperclip from a second string just above the waterline and focused on it. then removed it from the light. I used a remote shutter release (wired type). Just as a drip would leave the syringe I would time the release to try and get the shot just as the drop hit the water. It took about 30 shots to get 5 good shots. This is one of those. If anyone wants more info feel free to email me. Good Luck. #360834Kristen McKain February 04, 2004
