Postcard from Sydney 5

Uploaded: October 16, 2006

Description

The view from the Sydney Observatory towards area known as The Rocks and this also shows an alternative view of 'the coathanger' (The Sydney Harbour Bridge).

I could easily have sat here for hours on end soaking up this view, a location which was a highlight of my holiday......

Hand held - auto landscape setting.

Lovely, Donna. I love that side of town too. I have a few shots from there as well. Did you go into the observatory? Some great photos can be taken there too and there is an interesting computer display that has images of Sydney in the past compared with the same location today.
The church in the foreground is the Garrison Church. My brother got married there in 1980.
Don't you just love the fig trees on the hill too. #3454989
