Moon Walk
Uploaded: October 15, 2006
This makes me think of a quote that I heard recently, but don't remember who said it: "To get to the top, you can't take the elevator, you must take the stairs." This was taken in a dry lake bed... the stairs led up to the top of the dam. I added the moon, and duplicated the left side of the photo so everything would be symmetrical, including the shadows from the sun. Sharpened and saturated a bit in PSCS2

Thank you so much, Kaz! And thank you, too, Ken for the 5 really big stars. This one was created late at night when I needed to be creative amidst all the WORK I have been doing... I must do good work when my eyes are glazed over and my brain is tired of WORK! ;-) #3457512Cheryl E. Molennor October 18, 2006

Thanks again, Marta. You are very kind. This one doesn't seem to do too well in the contest, tho. #4147359Geraldine E. Lefoe April 09, 2007
Hi Diana - I've found it is worthwhile resubmitting a couple of times. There are so many entries the judges don't always pick up the good ones first time round. My second prize shot was resubmitted three times before it was a finalist. So give it another go. #4147632Diana L. Ralph April 09, 2007
Thank you so much Geraldine for encouraging me, but I've resubmitted this one at least 3 times. I'll try one more, though. I appreciate your encouragement. #4147938Diana L. Ralph August 06, 2007
