This is a beautiful capture- I wonder if it is near Butterfield Rd. I go through Batavia on my way to the College of DuAPage.- Gunther #18360

Thank you, Gunther. It is in Fabyan Parkway Forest Preserve in Batavia, IL. It is on the corner of Fabyan Parkway and Route 31 (Lake Street) along the Fox River. It was a privately owned property and the owners built the Japanese garden, a small lighthouse, boathouse, and the main house, a Frank Lloyd Wright design, was turned into a museum. I have a lot of shots posted in my gallery that have been taken there, including another one of this bridge without the snow (it was taken about 4 weeks ago). It is one of my favorite shooting spots. #40227
