Thanks, Donnarae, no, you can not use just any black and white film. It has to be either Ilford XP2 or one that Kodak makes, but I can't remember the name of that one. These two types of film are black and white, very fine grain, but can be processed C42, or color process. The Kodak film renders more of a brown tone and the Ilford renders a golden tone.
