I've found that when trying to take butterfly pictures its best to have a lot of patience, wear lighter clothing, & to use a long lens so as not to frighten them if you try to get too close.

Such an impressive capture Michelle. I love everything about it! I know how difficult it can be to get these beauties to land long enough to focus and shoot.
