Late Afternoon Kitesurfer

Uploaded: September 29, 2006

Description

Late sun in the sky.It was a cloudless day,but the apparent clouds are actually smoke from what I would think was a controlled pre summer, bush burnoff, somewhere north/northeast of Perth. Floreat Beach,Western Australia.28Sept.2006.~20mins to sunset.

This would be really beautiful even without the kite surfer. There is such wonderful light - I suppose bush burnoff is only a natural thing anyway so we can't complain.
The kite surfer is a great bonus to the shot! #536037

Hi Kate, you are back! Near sunset dose add to the different light effects looking west across the ocean, but also that not real cloud on this day, gives different colour tones as well.Well CALM burnoffs down here as I am sure you know, are meant to minimize larger out of control bushfires during our summer. Thanks Kate and great to hear you are back. #3426433
