Hi Dave,

This is really a beautiful and mysterious shot. And it's funny, I made my comment (in response to your comment of my gas spill shot) that at least my subjects aren't "staring back or running away" before I knew you shot kids primarily :) I have two nieces that are great fun to shoot, but wow, you've got to be FAST!

Yes you do have to be rather fast at times. That is the main reason I love digital. I would have wasted a lot of film over the last few years. I do like the instant gratifacation that digital brings. I have taken a couple of courses on-line, Digital Photography, and Capturing your Kids in Pictures. I found them helpful but frustrating at the same time. I am really looking forward to getting a digital slr like the Canon 10D or something similar. I feel that most of the courses are geared toward the slrs. I had seen your book before and thought about getting it. Now I believe that I will. I do live in a very beautiful area in Wisconsin right on the Mississipi river. There are a lot of bluffs over looking the city and the river valley. I have tried a few landscape shots including some panoramic ones. I just don't have the camera for it(lame excuse)or the knowledge(probably the real reason). If you want to donate one to the library here it would be the Onalaska Public Library. I could get you the address if you want it. I am sure that they would appreciate it. Who knows maybe you will see me in your class one of these sessions.
