Thanks Elias, Gary and Darren. Elias, I agree that it could have been sharper, but I was looking to have a very shallow dof across the label. Also, and maybe someone can help me with this, my uploaded images are much softer than my original files. BP told me to use 8 bit tifs, but it's just not cutting it. This one happened to be jpg because I've been experimenting. You'll notice a few images down in my gallery I uploaded a comparison. Any suggestions? #3331451

I have been told by others (and it seems to be working) to make the short side 480 and let the other side fall wherever. Then sharpen one last time. I always upload tifs too. Hope it helps! #3337735

The short side 480?! I'm trying it tonight. Thanks! #3337747

Yes, although on here it says 500 on the short side and 750 on the long, I was told because of the border to go with 480. See what you think! :) And I forgot to say I like your image and the wood floor as Darren said! #3337756

The wood, by the way is the desk I currently use, which was my dad's when he was in college. I could refinish it, but it has a cool weathered look. Thanks again for the comments. #3337761

Yes it does have a great look and I never would have thought it was a desk. Let us know if you could tell a difference after trying the resize! #3337773

Carol,
Making the short side 480 has changed my life. Or at least the sharpness of my images. I've uploaded a couple that way and can see a definite improvement. Thank you so much! #3343926

Well, I am so glad I told you and didn't just assume you were doing that already! However, I can't take all the credit because another BP member told me about it, and I noticed a big improvement once I began doing it! #3344907
