Renee, how did you get the background black? I see it a lot, I'm pretty sure it's been explained to me before, but I don't remember! Thanks!

That is funny you ask.I would like to know the technical answer also. *embarrassed*
I do know that in the all of the many pictures I took of this flower the angle or compostition was different and leaves or things that were closer to the picture did show up green but were blurred. I think it has something to do with the depth because I composed this shot attempting to get nothing in the background. The closet thing in the background was about 15-20 feet away and that was pine trees. :-)
Maybe Charlotte can answer the correct way? I will add a picture to show the difference. #3345651
