Taken at Melbourne Zoo, Australia, in the brilliant Western Lowland Gorilla enclosure. This is Motaba - the resident silverback and father of the three youngsters. I waited a good 30 mins for him to turn around for a split second, as he generally turns his back to the crowd and typical of most primates, he does not like eye contact.
