This ball club shoots fireworks every friday night after the game. I set my equipment up each and every friday night throughout the season and tried everything imaginable to get shots I was happy with. On the LAST night, I decided to put my wide angle lens on and go right up to the building, aim it as high as I could into infinity and let it "rip". And so, I got several very good shots. Some of them looked as if the stadium was a "popcorn popper" but some were good and I was pleased. Especially after burning so much film. I learned a lot and that was what it was all about. This photo is hanging in 16x20 format in the front office of the General Manager of the ball club. He was thrilled to replace the one he had with this one. Thank you so much for your very nice comments. It IS much harder than it looks. I must work harder on my night photography. #324298
