Hi, Yomar,

I saw your question about "wisdom". Now, I'm not really advanced, but I'll see what I can do.

This is a nice picture. How did you set the camera? [Or, if it was just on auto, do you know what the shutter speed or aperture or ISO was at? (I have an explanation of these terms here: http://scrattyphotography.blogspot.com/2006/06/what-do-camera-settings-mean.html)]

It's very good the the horizon is placed by the rule of thirds, as opposed to the center of the picture.

Now, here's the big problem with this picture: there's no clear subject. Although the sky looks cool, I don't think it's enough of a subject.

Take it easy,
Ariel

I can't remember exactly what my settings were I know my iso was 800 and my aperture I believe was 6.3 as for shutter I really don't know. #3201610

Well, there are programs that show the exif data, which shows the camera settings. Picasa is one example.

You don't want such a high ISO, as that produces grain. If you use a tripod, you could have a long shutter speed and a low ISO and a smaller aperture. If everything is far away and you're zoomed out and you don't have a tripod, you could have a wider aperture so the shutter speed will be at least 1/30s.

Also, make sure to use gND filters in a situation as this, because the bottom of the picture is just too dark. #3201634
