Snowy scene captured recently near Mt. Blowhard, not far from Mt. Hotham, in the Victorian Alps, Victoria, Australia... Some adjustments made using PS CS - Brightness & Contrast, Saturation & Lightness, Shadow-Highlight, & Unsharp Mask... Taken later afternoon in mid-winter, on 13 July 2006 - 1/1000 sec @ f2.8, ISO 66, & 5.9mm focal length...

I love how the blue reflection on the snow matches the sky and the icy fingers of the lifeless tree branches appear to touch the sky. Great use of the rule of thrids, very pretty photo! :o) #3082179

Julie - you'll HAVE to take another visit to the Snowy's, or the Victorian Alps - you'd LOVE it, and there are SO many photo op's available!! :o)

Renee - we had a WONDERFUL time in the snow, thanks!! We hadn't been for quite a few years, and felt that another visit was well overdue!! :o) There were plenty of GREAT photo op's - as you can imagine...and see from my pic's, I hope!! ;o)
