Thanks Tressie. I loved the colors. They are real. I didn't do this in PS. They had painted the building, but had enough respect for the old 7up painted-on billboard to not paint over it. It immediately grabbed my attention and at just the perfect moment, the business man walked into the frame. It wouldn't be the same without him. #3065682

Thank you Kenneth and Ross. I also have a shot of this scene with a vintage weird-green pickup truck in the photo, but a lady and her dog were on the opposite corner and sort of mucked up the shot. I would have loved it with the truck but the woman and dog made it to hard to edit them out. Oh well, we are going back in Sept. Who knows, maybe I will get lucky again. #3068957

Thank you to everyone for your kind words and thank you to Better Photo for the perfect timing in choosing this image for POTD. I was released from the hospital yesterday and found that this image had been chosen as POTD. It was a real pick-me-up for me. The irony here is that I was supposed to be back in Asheville last night but because of my trip to the hospital and diagnosis I had to cancel my trip.
