Description

Taken mid day July, bright light from behind. This filly looking through the veil of her mother's mane intrigued us!

Very nice Lynn. I love how the filly appears to be hiding and peeking out from behind mom. Love the lighting on her back show the spine area. #486494

Karen, I appreciate the detailed feedback! This photo really appeals to me; it expresses something about her relationship to her mom. She's got a wonderful mom! The lighting seemed ideal to me. #3055526

Barbara, we do appreciate you confirming the composition! Both Kevin and I took this with two different cameras from two different angles. This one is his; more of the foal is showing in his. And his camera does better in dim light. That mare has a really long mane!

Kathy, as always, you cheer me on! Thanks for this comment (it's going to encourage Kevin, too, for sure! He's been a bit more selective about what he wants to enter in the contest) and for your comments on the others today, too! Your visits to our gallery make my day. #3095191

I think this is awesome! I adore how the filly is peeking through mama's mane, yet you still captured good detail on her. The lighting is excellent. Thanks for your comments on "Gotta Go". They led me to your wonderful gallery. We are horse lovers too! #3180444
