Congratulations but I wouldn't agree with the decision of making this the Photo of the Day. Nothing against the photographer because she has far better work, but there are better photographs that seem worthy of the photo of the day "Award". I just believe that those who run this website are consumed by the safety aspect of photography and only recognize photographs that fall into repetitive and "clichéd" patterns, and those who take risks to find out what something would look like when photographed are continuously reprimanded by individuals who can't recognize an Ansel Adams photograph from an Edward Weston. Those who run this website are consumed by commercial photography and have forgotten why photography was stumbled upon in the first place. Beautiful photographs last until the ideal of beauty changes. Those photographs that possess something else, intellect, last forever. #3430649
