The fog adds to the "bleak and remote" description. If you could brighten the overall photo just a bit for the upload I think it would be more powerful. I have found that just before posting if I move the brightness slider 10 steps to the right and then the contast 20, I get very good results when I upload.

Composition wise I would chop about an inch off the top so your shot would better fit into the "rule of thirds" ideal. Right now the roof of the prison is bisecting the photo in halves. Whatever you do, don't discard this photo, it has a lot of potential. #3010817

This is a great photo Andrew...certainly some place I wouldn't ever want to see the inside of! I agree with Dennis about cropping a bit off the top but I still think its great #3010903
