Help anyone??? The sun was just about to dip below the horizon and the ligth was so orange...thus the strange colour of the dog. Any pointers would be appreciated. #480760

The lighting is STUPENDOUS!! I think that trial and error is the way to go with panning...different shutter speeds and practice, practice, practice... #3007998

The focus could have been a bit sharper but I really like the light. If you had a tripod handy to keep the horizontal plane it may have helped. But overall it is very good, a good sense of speed is dramatized. #3010773

The smooth water in the background just won't blur the way other backgrounds will when you pan. When you pan against objects (flowers, tall grass, buildings) you get a specific blur accross the plane that makes it look like whatever you are shooting is really flying. Otherwise it's a great shot. Focus is pretty crisp on the eye with lots of motion in the legs. If you have kids, ask them to ride their bikes back and forth in front of you for practice. #3015530
