Thanks for the comments!
I did try it in black and white but the seeds didn't stand out as much, which is what I really wanted...maybe a different angle or lighting would fix that, I was just using the setting sun coming thru the window.
As for them standing up, I had them on the counter on a piece of matte paper, all the windows were open, it was rather breezy and they just sort of danced around so I just kept shooting and then chose the one I liked best...eventually the guy at far left danced off the paper :o) #7076
