Great capture! Jon. I didn't have much success capturing fireworks on this July 4th.

I set my camera to manual mode, with 30sec @ F8 ISO 400 and with tripod. Most of the images didn't turn out good. :( Oh well, this is my very first time shooting firework.

I used the top of my truck with a plastic lid as support,ISO 200, and 4 Second exposure using the S mode. Some of the shots had too long of exposure, but most turned out like this. #2987752

Maybe that's my problem... I will try that next year with setting at 4 second instead.
