I like the composition but it looks as if you enhanced the blue sky, The sky above the clouds jsut seems "too blue" as compared to the rest of the sky. #2981482

Thank Mike, I will have to look up the raw and see if the sky has 2 tones. I don't think I did anything to enhance the sky. #2994635

Did you use a polarizer filter? Sometimes it can darken up just part of the sky if you are not careful. #2994664

Mike, I did not use a filter at all. The sky color at that altitude is pretty rich. I just check the unprocessed Raw and it is that way as well. I then checked an image without that much clouds, the sky color goes gradually light to dark from horizon and up. That big piece of cloud in this shot cuts off the middle portion and created that illusion. #2996453

The sky looks fine to me. I find the road sign distracting though. I would crop out the sign and the red roof on the far left. My 2 cents. Jeff #2996725

I really like the colors! And the details you got on the mountains is great! #2997600

Mother Nature's weird sometimes. My first reaction to your image, Johnson, was That sky is oversaturated, but he has a great panorama there. Even if you recorded what really was, maybe a tad of unsaturating would kick the picture up a notch.

The clouds are wonderful, too, and if this were mine, I wouldn't touch them at all. I would, however, clone out the dark little object sticking up from the bottom of the image about 1/5 in from the left corner because every other dark thing is vegetation and this is Odd Thing Out. #2997750

I paint watercolors and often comment that if I painted the sky as I see it sometimes it would be considered improbable. This is magnificent!!! We just got back from Arizona and saw unbelievable skys like this. More pollution in New England maybe. Great picture!! #3030190
