Description

Once again I captured a bautiful lilly and coudnt resist not to share it with you all.................And daylilies come in almost every color you can imagine. There isn't a blue one yet, although hybridizers are getting close to getting some near-blue markings in the eye zones of some new varieties. And there isn't a true pure white, although 'Cool It' comes very close. There are even a few that are so dark they might be called black........................Daylilies don't grow from bulbs, but rather from tubers - like dahlias. There is a main tuber and lots of little offshoots each of which will send up foliage and then flower scapes. So they spread outward by making more and more tubers................THIS PHOTO IS NOT DIGITALY ENHANCED other then FRAME....
F3.3 aperture, 1/250 shutter, nikon macro dedicated 105 mm lens, Garden in Oregon state, CORVALIS, Flower City USA...flowers everywhere.....
