Steamboat Geyser

Uploaded: June 20, 2006

Description

Aptly named, this geyser located within Yellowstone National Park is the largest in the U.S. and has the most impressive eruptions. The chances of witnessing this geysers full fury are about as remote as winning the lottery. Typically, a full eruption can occur any time within four days to fifty years apart.

Great shot of the geyser. I've never been there...yet. #468763
