what do you think of this? how can I make it better? #464646

The pose is great, Connie, and you get the Waiting idea across very well.

But you need to simplify the clutter around your subject. There's lots of stuff, and much of it is brighter than your subject, so I have to struggle to get back to her (because the eye always goes to the brightest part of a picture).

Severe cropping would make a big improvement, for instance, (1) horizontally from the top to under the round light and behind your model and (2) vertically on the left, cutting out the orange container. Then you darken the pole in PS, and if you can do it without cutting into the feet, straighten on the dominant line -- either the bench or the edge of the walkway.

For another attempt, the solution would be to get closer (you have lots of usable space over her head without losing the feet) and watch the background! #2894540
