Anyone have any suggestions on how to make this one better?

I might sharpen this a tinny bit, and the horizon is crooked, it drops a little on the right.
However, I really like everything about this! The palm trees against the sky is really nice, and I like the reflection of the sun.
I could either take or leave the lamp post.
But keep up the good work, I can't wait to see what other pics you take! #2874657

Thanks for the advice...i didnt even realize that the horizon is crooked. I took the pic in a moving car on the highway so thats probably why its a lil crooked.

yeah I have been thinking about whether I should take the lampost out.

thanks for all the help :)

Hi Connie, yes you could clone it out but I think you could more easily just crop it on that side and eliminate the pole. Also maybe try to sharpen slightly and it should be great. I love sunsets and palm silhouettes, so I enjoy looking at this! :) #2878144

Hi Connie. I would eliminate the lamp post, not crop the photo. You are close here to the Rule of Thirds: moving the focal point of your image away from the center of your frame. Try to employ this rule, unless you consciously decide to break it. In my Bali Sunset (thanks for your comment) I centered the sun and palms on purpose. Anyway, you have a nice image here. Try composing it both ways and see what works for you. Steve #2941998

Beautiful capture, Connie! Very nice colors! I would also just clone out the lamp post because I would not want to lose any of the trees! #2944740
