I love the few subtle colors at the stem ends of the feathers! & the bg couldn't have been better! This is simple, intrigueing & a great story teller to the viewer! Many thoughts & questions come to mind!

Hey Ron, good to hear from ya! Thanks for stopping by and giving such an encouraging comment.

I was surprised at how well this feather scanned, given its shape. The scanner BG even looked nice, so I used the extract tool and made a ragged edge as a border intending to work on it as a stand alone.

However, the more I looked at the image, the more I felt it could say, so this gently evolved.
