Andrew, I like the colors, However I find the cloth (Sail?) distrascting although there is nothing you could do about it. I looked at your gallery and really like "Ramsgate Harbour" and "Fishermans Cottage" They both have great lighting and composition. #2806252

I also like the colors, and how crisp and clear this shot is.
But I find that the sail is distracting, and the horizontal crop makes me feel like I'm missing something.
Personally I like to see more water, but I am by no means an expert. And by the looks of your gallery you sure know what you are doing! #2806615

Hi all,
Many thanks for your input. It was one of those photos that the main subject looked good (the vision/idea was there) but the surrounding objects were too distracting. Still, it's one to learn from and to show others,
