Nature Smiles Back

Uploaded: May 08, 2006

Description

This is the same African Performer I submitted in an earlier entry. I like her warm smile and the gentle look in her eyes with direct contact with my camera in this shot. I cropped from a larger picture, adjusted levels, brightened her eyes, and softened her skin tone.

Thank you April. It's nice to be complimented by someone who has a nice gallery of people shots with several winners. I will have to spend more time looking at your shots. This series of shots was an unexpected treat while on vacation last year and the foliage is actually part of her costume. She made eye contact with my camera and me and I became a "trigger happy" photographer and got several shots of her solo performance. It wasn't until yesterday that I looked deeper into this picture and saw its real potential. #2741415
