Baby Duck

Uploaded: October 23, 2003

Description

f 3.4 @ 1/160 sec./221mm/K.W. Willis/This precious and determined baby duck was so small and matched the colors along the shoreline so closely that I almost missed him entirely. The image was recorded looking down from a dock in the early morning light. His mother looked on proudly as he led the way for his other siblings in their first swim.

What a wonderful capture! So glad your eye wasn't diverted by something less important than "baby's first"... The light and shadows are lovely, too. Great job! #69258

Thanks Mary. Yeah, it's sort of a stop-and-smell-the-roses shot. Maybe slow-and-watch-the-ducky? Thanks for your comments, Blessings, KW #245238
