The Taj Mahal
Uploaded: May 01, 2006
Built in the mid-1600s, the Taj Mahal is truly an architectural marvel, even at today's standards. It is constructed of carefully carved Indian marble and inlaid with semi-precious stones. This mausoleum and the surrounding gardens were designed and laid out with meticulous care and planning.
One of the highlights of my tour overseas was being able to visit this incredible masterpiece of human ingenuity.

Jeremy, what an incredible opportunity to photograph something so magnificent; Ken was kind to allow you to photograph his home :) Love the composition and how it leads you right into the scene; the symmetry is so stately; terrific work! #437316Gail Vitikacs May 01, 2006

They named a building in India after a 1960s rock star? How cool is that? #2715413Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
