A Matched Pair

Uploaded: April 30, 2006

Description

Taken in early April 2006 along the Klickitat River, WA. ISO 400, 1/500 sec, f/6.7, minor adjustments in Canon RAW format, 75-300mm lens at 300mm, cropped.

It is not until they are at least 4 years old that these bald eagles develop the distinctive black body with a white head. Their coloring also made it easier to spot this pair high in a tall pine tree while driving along the river.
