Description

1/1000s, f6.3, 18-50 lens @ 33mm, ISO 400
Although it might look as if I was sneaking around with my long telephoto lens here, it was not the case. This is one of the rare times I did ask permission, as the square in front of these church stairs was wide and empty and even if I wanted, I had no way of concealing myself. The scene offered a lot of potential, so I approached the couple, who fortunately did not mind being photographed. It almost felt the opposite, they seemed to enjoy it to an extent! Only after I went for the wide part of my zoom and stepped quite close, the girl politely thanked and I had to end it there. Before leaving I left my e-mail, in case they ever wanted to see the outcome.
