I like the composition and how vivid the rose is. I just think that the frame takes away from the rose.-Mike #436544

I really like this rose; I think I can smell it! Actually, I think I like the border. I looked and looked at it and because the border is black and the rose so bright, it makes the rose seem to pop out (looks almost 3D). It might look like this anyway without the border, but I don't think it would be as noticeable. But, I am just a newbie here, and it's just my opinion. I am sure the others know best, but still, we all have different tastes, so what appeals to one may not appeal to another. Also, I guess it's according to what you plan to do with the photo. I would take it off if you plan to enter it in the contest because they don't really like borders (it says on the contest page). Also, you have to take it into consideration what you like because it's your photo! #2707279
