Upper Falls-Yellowstone National Park

Uploaded: April 10, 2006

Description

September, 2004 from one of the lookout points in Yellowstone National Park. This is probably one of the most photographed shots in the United States. To show the immenseness of this view, look carefully into the lower center of the image. That's a public walkway that goes down to below the falls. If you look carefully, you can see the tiny people along a portion of the walkway. Those pines are actually quite tall at 200-300 feet high. This is an amazing and breath-taking view when you first take in the beauty and then realize just how small you feel in such immense beauty.

10x zoom, UV filter only. Effects added in PS 5.5.
