Washington at Cherry Blossom time

Uploaded: March 30, 2006

Description

I was able to stop at the Tidal Basin for the most wonderful display of cherry blossoms I've yet seen. Shot program mode, used a polarizer, and did some masking in Photoshop to make the sky stand out a little better.

Thanks! It was a gorgeous morning, although a bit smoggy, and the blossoms were as beautiful as I've seen them. Needless to say, I saw a LOT of others with cameras this morning. #2592661
