Yellow Finch Pair

Uploaded: March 29, 2006

Description

F/4.8, 1/400, ISO-100, Kailua Kona @ 8:29am - this little pair of birds are so spoiled they hang on the screen to chirp loudly to remind me to feed them. They love to wait on this Ti plant while I fill the bowl.

Michele, first let me say thanks for dropping by my site and welcome to the BP family. You will enjoy it and it is very addictive. Thanks for your comments which were informative. I have visited your gallery and you have some nice captures. This one is full of color and various lines and design work well with the composition. #417803

Let me add my welcome to Emile's. I love the yellow against the pink on this one. I would suggest taking a few more of these guys while your plant is in bloom. #2590992

Thank you both for your welcome and comments. I truly appreciate them. Diana, in Hawaii the bouganvillias are almost always in bloom so we are fortunate for this. I will try to capture more of them with the bright magenta and ocean background. Do you think if I ask them to pose they would? :o) #2591420

Depends on if you have food at the time. I'm sure with the right amout of seed, they could be persuaded to fluff up those feathers and puff out those chests. #2591441
