Description

These are two of our rescued dogs. The white one is Tank. He spent a year of his life chained to the stairwell of an apartment complex and "disciplined" with a stick regularly. He was rescued by a police officer and given to us. The other is our foster dog, Bella. She was found wandering the streets 25 pounds underweight and missing most of her fur. In the shelter, she was so weak, other dogs pushed her out of the way to eat. A Los Angeles German Shepherd rescue saved her as she was being led in to be euthanized and placed her temporarily with us. Would you look this happy if you had a second chance at life?

You bet I would!! Great image, love the
b&w. We have 2 rescues, one of our
GSD's is a rescue. She had been beaten,
& starved, chained in a dark basement.
You could count every rib, & vertebra
on her. We were only supposed to foster
her for a few weeks - but my husband (also a Police Officer currently) & I
just couldn't give her up. So now we have a total of 5 dogs!! LOL! It's so
good to see others with the same love for animals that we have. :) :) #585971
