Absence of lavender

Uploaded: March 16, 2006

Description

This is a photo of the Abbaye de Senanque in France. Those rows of green plants are lavender. They look spectacular during lavender season (May to August). Alas, I was there in September.
In Photoshop, I replaced a bland sky with some clouds, and did a bit of dodging and burning.

Irene, this one is also lovely - and welcome - I've found that if I search through recent entries that I like, often those members will then look at my gallery and comment on one that they like. I have periods when I upload one a day and then periods when I don't upload a thing for a week. Mary #410353
