Thanks so much, Judith! Coming from you, that means a lot. I checked out your gallery and am very impressed! Congrats on all the winners! I see you're very proficient with photoshop also. Let me ask you, in your image "African Crane with Callo Leaf", what selection tool did you use to so perfectly isolate his crown. That was perfect, no signs of PS work. I mostly use the polygonal lasso tool with a light feathering, but it can be real time consuming with an image like yours. I've tried the background eraser tool, but don't seem to be too proficient with it. Anyway, thanks again for your kind comments! #209366

Hi Douglas, Glad you enjoyed my gallery. For the African Crane I used the magic wand as my selection tool. I find that to be my favorite. You can change the tolerance on it so it sometimes really works well. This was a tough one to do but it had a fairly solid background to start with so it came out okay. Also wanted to mention that my maiden name was "Gould".
