Thank you very much, Carolyn, for your kind comments! It's funny that you should choose the word "interesting".

I had high hopes for a good sunset and colored clouds this particular evening and had asked my husband, Wayne, to take a short drive (as we frequently do) so I could capture something interesting (there's that word again). Well, to my dismay, NO color developed; a low bank of clouds had formed along the horizon, blocking any view of the setting sun. There weren't even any deer to look at - and it was very cold and windy!

As we went out one last open stretch of road, finally, there was a hint of yellow above the cloud bank on the horizon. "Do you want me to pull over?" No, well, OK, yes. To my surprise, this gate post and the barbed wire made a good silhouette. This image was the 3rd and last exposure I took with my camera on a tripod. It literally was the last light of the day.

I hope you don't mind the long response but I thought you might find the story amusing!

Thanks again, Carolyn! P.S. I LOVE your cat pictures - he's beautiful!
