Striking photo, Claudia! Although in many ways color is my passion, I also love black and white. Sometimes it's the way to go and I think in this image, it really does work well! Once upon a time, I was at gallery where they had an Ansel Adams showing and I heard a fellow say, "I wouldn't give you a dollar for these photos. I could take these myself. What's the big deal, anyway? They're only black and white!" HA. Now of course, we can change a colored photo to a b&W with the aid of the computer: but the principle's the same. The photo has to be of even BETTER quality, to shine in black and white. And, as I recently discovered, there are so many pallettes, so many subtle variations of tone from which to choose even in b&w. This one does shine, and I think it's great! And color wouldn't have the mood of this. #2522674
