This is a book I can not put down! Its great. The way you explain every aspect of potography in this book is outstanding! Thanks,I hope to collect all of them and soon take one of your workshops on BP! #578878

Hi Jim,
Terrific photo, and a perfect pic for BetterPhoto's "Where in the World?" quiz! It will be featured in this week's PhotoFlash newsletter.

Jim, let's see if anyone can come up with the correct answer. I'll check back in the coming days, and see how things are going. In the meantime, please don't give away the location :-) ... let's keep it a "secret" until everyone gets a chance to make their guesses.

And, for everyone else, have fun guessing where this wonderful scene can be found!

Thanks,
Kerry Drager

Hi Jim, I love this shot, makes me want to put on my Italian loafers and head to Portofino or thereabouts. #4128556

I have no idea so it may as well be minatubo in the phillipines. #4129257

My 1st thought was Amalfi, but then I thought maybe it's Malibu? :-) #4129337

Let me guess, I think it is Santorini, Greece. #4129433

I'll say Rio in Brazil. It looks like the view from where the Christo statue is. Beautiful, regardless. #4129504

Great Photo! I think this was in Jamaica. #4130759

It looks like the place where we use to vacation in Italy many moons ago. We also had to walk 600 stone steps to the beach a couple of times a day! So I would say Palermo italy. #4130960

How about the Amalfi coast in Italy. #4134322

Looks like the Amalfi Coast to me too; how about Positano? #4137285

Hi Jim,
Again, a great shot ... and it looks like it's time to divulge the location of this fine scene.

Thanks!

Hi Everyone,

There were a lot of good guesses, from Rio de Janeiro (I agree, it does look like that view from Sugar Loaf) to various places in Italy. Ann Belus nailed it -- it's twilight on a foggy evening overlooking Positano on the Amalfi Coast. In my opinion, all cities, no matter where in the world they are, look their most beautiful at twilight.
