Description

August, 2005, This little guy sat poised for me at different angles for a period of about 10 minutes right in my own backyard. He was perched upon the tops of green scallions in my garden. Through the viewer, I could see his big eyes checking me and my big camera lens out. He didn't appear frightened, even at my close range.

When I downloaded this one from the camera (one of about 15), I was fascinated with the tiny cilia on his front and hind legs and the shape and definition of his wings. What a beautiful irredescent nose he has!!

Taken with my Sony Cybershot F828 SLR digital, macro setting, 14x zoom. No adjustments, simple presentation effects added in PhotoShop 7.0.
