Description

March, 2005, I took on the dock by Lake St. George, near our home at the time. The large heron seems to be preaching to the numerous seagulls all lined up along the rail trying to stay warm. It was quite cool here for March and a brisk wind was blowing the birds' plummage. I had to wait patiently for a good shot reflecting the correct pose and all their feathers nicely in place. Strange how birds of a feather flock together....similarly how we as humans follow some of the same traits as those of the animal kingdom in our personal lives.

Taken with my Sony Cybershot F717 digital. Effects added in PhotoShop 7.0.
