Yes Ronnie, it is the science world globe in Vancouver. #5721

Dan-
It is rare to see someone shooting 'night scenes' before its really night! Shooting at dusk, as you obviously are aware, is a much more magical time then waiting for the sky to go pitch black. You have really nailed this shot and kudos to you!

Great shot Dan! I am originally from Vancouver and it brought a flood of images to mind. Thanks it is truly stunning, the warmth and saturation of color even in the reflection is magnificent! What equipment did you use for this shot? I am quite new at working with lighting. I realize it can make or break the outcome. Do you have any simple hints you can pass on? #30157

Dan Hutchinson May 26, 2019

Thanks Chad. I used a Canon G2 digital and tripod for this shot. As far as lighting & such the single best advice I could give would be to sign up for Bryan Petersons "Understanding Exposure" as he is a master on this. If you are unable to do that then be sure to pick up a copy of his book by the same name. I have a copy and really enjoyed it.

Does this one use a special wide angle lense or just use some croping? #87925

Dan Hutchinson May 26, 2019

No wide angle used on this one. Just cropping. Dan #87951
