Description

F/5.6, 1/4000, exposure compensation 2.0. Also - ISO on this one is 1600. In the middle of the shoot, I realized my ISO was high and dropped it to 100, assuming that would be better since the snow was already so bright... and I couldn't tell in my LCD that most of my ISO 100's were turning out too dark, even with the exposure compensation. So once I reviewed the photos on my monitor, I found that, for this scene, the shots I had taken w/ the high ISO were the most pleasing. But since the photos were taken in RAW, I can rescue the low-ISO dark ones in my editor if I want - but that's not the point of this assignment, is it? No editing was done on these shots - but I'd take out that bird feeder on the left if I was good enough at cloning. Also, I broke another rule and handheld for all these shots - the foot of snow on the ground wasn't a tripod-friendly environment.

Exif: FNumber: 5.6, ExposureBiasValue: 4/2, ExposureTime: 0.00025, Flash: flash did not fire, ISO: 1600, WhiteBalance: manual white balance
